What is our first step?
After deciding on a time frame, contact the Courtyard Isla Verde Beach Resort Catering Department to check on the availability. Once the date and time have been established for your wedding, we will send you a contract outlining the wedding services selected.
How do we contact someone about booking our Wedding or Reception?
In order to better serve you, our Catering Department asks that you fill out the Request More Information provided on our website. Once it is completed click "Submit". Upon Receipt of your complete form the information will be reviewed and a Manager from our Catering Department will contact you. You may also call our Catering Department and a Catering Manager will be glad to assist you. (787) 253-2308
How do I plan my wedding long distance?
We are delighted to attend to all the wedding planning details by telephone, e-mail, faxes, and mail prior to your wedding event. You can be certain that our team of professionals at the Courtyard by Marriott Isla Verde Beach Resort is able, willing, and ready to assist you in every detail that involves the planning of that special day. Planning your destination wedding in Puerto Rico will be no challenge because our Catering Manager will guide you through each step in planning your event. If you wish to visit our facilities prior to the event, please contact us in advance (at least two weeks) to ensure availability of rooms and vendors.
What do I need to do once I arrive in Puerto Rico?
Obtaining your marriage license is the most important step upon arriving in Puerto Rico. We will assist you on obtaining your marriage license and paperwork.
If my event is outdoors, what happens if it rains?
During an outdoor event, we reserve an indoor area as a backup in case a function has to be relocated due to
bad weather.
Can my wedding ceremony be on the beach?
Yes. Your wedding ceremony can be performed right on the beach.
What is your service fee and sales tax?
For banquet events, a 20% service fee will be added to all food and beverage charges. Also, a municipal sales tax of 7% is applied to all retail sales and services.
Do you offer Wedding Packages?
Yes. In addition to our Buffet and Plated menus and services, we offer a variety of wedding packages which are available through our Catering Manager and our website.
Culinary
When should we discuss our menu selections?
Menus can be discussed at any time but we request that they be finalized a minimum of thirty (30) days prior to the event date in order to guarantee availability of items and price.
Do you provide the wedding cake?
We will provide the perfect wedding cake for the occasion; size varies depending on the number of guests.

Do you provide a non-denominational minister?
We have a wide selection of ministers available based on your religious needs.
Do you provide a photographer?
Yes. We can provide a photographer for your wedding ceremony and reception who will take pictures of this special day capturing memories that will last a lifetime.
What music should I use?
We have a selection of different musicians or DJ's who can provide you with the music of your preference.
Who will do my hair and makeup?
If desired, we provide personalized hairstyling and makeup services. A team of professionals will pamper you and make sure that you look beautiful on your day.
Do you decorate my wedding?
We can provide unique and affordable wedding decorations to help you create the wedding of your dreams.
