Absolutely stunning & amazing staff
I picked the Isla Verde Beach Resort because of its beautiful ocean view and the Marriott's well-known reputation. Amnel (our banquet coordination) was very professional and prompt in answering all of my questions and put me at ease regarding any possible mishaps. When we arrived at the hotel I was absolutely blown away at how gorgeous the resort is! Every single staff member was incredible, from valet to the front desk to the bartenders. The day of our wedding Amnel and my hired coordinator worked seamlessly to make sure the day was perfect. Everything from the ceremony setup, to cocktail hour, to our reception in the banquet hall was more than I had imagined! Our guests still rave about the delicious Puerto Rican buffet we had as our menu option. I highly suggest this as your menu choice. Open bar was a hit as well! Highly, Highly recommend this resort for your destination wedding!! You won't be disappointed. We will be coming back on our next visit to the island! :)
Best spaces with amazing views
5-Stars fall short for this amazing venue. The quality of service, amazing spaces with amazing views, attention to detail and attentive staff where above and beyond. I have to stand out their amazing Catering Director, Amnel. Amnel was amazing since day one we went to see the venue, and obviously fell in love. He was always attentive and responsive. We had to change our event 3 times due to Covid. This would have been stressful; however Amnel was understanding, accommodating and overall amazing making the best out of of the very limited possibilities due to Covid restrictions and in implementing a very strict protocol that made us and our guests super safe. We can’t thank Amnel and his staff enough for everything.
Most Beautiful Dream Wedding With Incredible Service and Solutions
It's hard to find words to express our gratitude and appreciation for Amnel and Courtyard by Marriott Isla Verde! The easy part is the venue. It was the picture perfect site for our wedding - so beautiful! The pictures are better than words we can try to express so check them out! The food was the best wedding food we ever had which is saying something as we have been to over 60 weddings before ours. Most importantly was the service of Amnel and his team. To say planning our wedding during a pandemic was difficult and everchanging is such an extreme understatement! We had plans changing continuously and Amnel was there understanding our situation and finding solutions for us in every change. He really was beyond explanation and we hope no other couple has to go though what we had to but rest assured Amnel and Courtyard by Marriott Isla Verde will find a way to make your wedding the wedding you have dreamed of!
Great Service
We are so grateful and happy with the service provided by Amnel and his amazing team at Courtyard Isla Verde. The food was delicious, the venue was beautiful, and everybody had a great time.
Great place for a wedding on a beach
We wanted to have our wedding on the beach, and this place is perfect for it! Amnel, the Director of Catering, was very responsive and helpful, accommodated every our need, and everything was perfect! We recommend this place to everyone who wants to have a wedding on a beach!
Excellent and memorable service
Amnel and the Courtyard by Marriot staff were an instrumental part in making our wedding into an epic and magical experience. They were extremely flexible and fair especially considering how the event was planned and took place through the course of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Awesome experience
The ceremony was beautiful the only thing is that it is open for the public to see, there was no privacy but it was not a
big deal for us. The reception at the Sirena Terrace had one of the most beautiful views I have had ever seen.
Special shout out to Amnel Colón, he was our coordinator and did everything to make sure our day was special.

Awesome Wedding Experience at Courtyard
From the beginning and throughout the process of planning and execution of our daughter's wedding, the event at the Courtyard was very professional, attentive, stress-free and beautiful. The director of catering, Amnel Colon, assisted us with every aspect of planning the wedding. He was responsive and very helpful with all our questions, and ideas to implement the wedding from the showing the event spaces to rehearsal bbq dinner to the day of the event. The wait staff was helpful to all our needs in a professional manner. The food was so good; Chef Carlos Mateo has placed his fingerprint on the style and flavors of the food served that we and all our guest kept talking about how great the food was. Not to minimize the quality and presentation of all the different foods prepared and served, the Churrasco stood out. Overall, the experience was wonderful, unforgettable and of very good value. We are glad that we chose Courtyard and we recommend having your wedding at there.

Highly highly recommend!
Amnel was such a pleasure to work with! He made planning a longdistance wedding (during Covid!) so easy. He was extremely responsive and prompt when we had any questions or concerns. Even more, our wedding itself was beautiful and the location and set up was better than we could have imagined, having never seen it before the day of. We would recommend that anyone who is looking to plan a wedding on the island have it here, as I don't think you will find a better point person anywhere else in San Juan who can help make it a reality!

I have to say that Amnel was the absolute best choice to pick and we are satisfied with how much support he gave my wedding coordinator Alisha with all selections and suggestions to have the perfect wedding for us. If you are looking to have a beautiful wedding with beautiful scenery at an affordable price then Amnel is the right person to contact. We are extremely pleased and overjoyed with the results of the way everything turned out. THANK YOU SO MUCH for all of your hospitality during our stay!
Excellent Hospitality
Choosing Courtyard by Marriott for our wedding venue was a nobrainer. We visited the hotel just before COVID-19 and canceled all other appointments to see other venues after we had a tour of the facility. Amnel was extremely kind and helpful throughout the process and even helped me feel more at ease with the restrictions that were in place in Puerto Rico due to the pandemic. We had a wonderful time at our wedding and the food was excellent. I wish I could do it all over again!
Best Wedding Experience
My wedding turned out to be the best that I imagined. Amnel from the Courtyard helped through the process and was flexible with meeting my expectations. I booked my venue with a year in advance and they were always available to answer my questions and make changes along the way. Amnel made my experience with the hotel even better. I had an outdoor ceremony with view to the beach and then the reception was in their ballroom (Salon del Mar). It had both tropical and elegant vibes. As well, we stayed at the hotel and he helped us book those as well. The food from the cocktail and the reception was amazing. The servers made sure that everyone had something to drink and to eat. I would always recommend the Courtyard at Isla Verde Beach Resort for future events.
